What our roofing work includes
Our roofing work includes roof inspections, repairs, replacements, and storm-damage evaluation for homeowners across Kansas City and surrounding communities.
Roof Replacement
When repairs no longer make sense, we replace your roof with quality materials and dependable installation built for Midwest weather
Roof Repair
Targeted fixes for leaks, missing or damaged shingles, and flashing problems — the right repair when a full replacement isn't needed.
Storm Damage
Hail or wind damage? We inspect the roof, explain what we find, and help you understand your next steps.
Roof Inspections
A clear, documented look at the condition of your roof so you can plan ahead with real information instead of guesswork.
Was Your Home in the Path of a Hailstorm?
ARC Builds KC has access to hail-history data going back up to two years, which can show reported storm paths, dates, and hail sizes near a property. It gives us another useful piece of information when evaluating whether a recent or past storm may have affected your roof.
Hail size alone does not determine whether a roof needs repair or replacement. The age and type of roof, the size of the hail, how long the storm lasted, and the condition of the roofing materials all matter. An onsite roof inspection is still needed to determine whether there is actual damage.
This data helps us:
- Check recent hail activity near your property
- Review reported hail sizes, dates, and storm paths
- Decide whether an onsite roof inspection is a reasonable next step
If damage is found, we can document what we see, explain the repair or replacement options, and coordinate with your insurance adjuster when needed. Your insurance company determines what your policy covers.

Roofing Materials & Options
ARC Builds KC installs roofing materials from trusted manufacturers including GAF, TAMKO, and CertainTeed. We’ll walk you through shingle styles, colors, and manufacturer warranty options, so you can choose what works best for your home.
What to expect
Our roofing process starts with a conversation and onsite estimate, followed by the agreed-upon work and a final walkthrough when the project is complete. Most residential roof replacements are completed in one to two days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather, and whether additional repairs are needed.

Once you're ready, we'll get the work scheduled, keep you updated along the way, and take care of your home while we're there. When the work is finished, we'll walk through the project with you to make sure everything is right before we call the job complete.
Roof repair vs. replacement
Not every roof problem means you need a new roof. If the damage is limited and the rest of the roof is in good shape, a repair may be enough. If the roof is older, has widespread damage, or keeps having problems, replacement may be the better option.
- A repair may be enough when the damage is limited to one area
- Replacement may make more sense when damage is widespread or the roof is older
- We’ll explain what we see and recommend the option that fits the condition of your roof
- If a repair will handle the problem, we’ll tell you

Storm damage and insurance
If your roof has been damaged by hail, wind, or another storm, we can inspect the roof, document the damage we see, and explain what needs attention. We can also provide a clear repair or replacement scope and coordinate with your insurance adjuster when needed. Your insurance company decides what is covered. Our job is to give you a clear picture of the damage and the work needed to repair it properly.
- Inspect the roof for visible storm damage
- Document the storm damage we find
- Explain the repair or replacement options
- Provide a clear scope of work
- Coordinate with the insurance adjuster when needed
